Berbece Severian

Born April 23, 1962, in Olanesti, Valcea county.
Married, one child. Lives in Bucharest, working for the “Al.I.Cuza” Police Academy.
Candidate Master at OTB chess. Participated successfully in a series of national and international tournaments between 1985 and 1995. One of the main components of the Second League team of that period, Metalul Rm. Valcea.
Master in correspondence chess. Best performance: national champion in CNF 27 (1994), with an excellent 93% result. 
Member of the national team participating in Coppa Latina, fifth edition - 5p(14) on Board 9. Played for Chimia Ramnicu Valcea in CNEC 3rd, 4th and 5th editions.

Dutu Florin

Born on May 26, 1968 in Ramnicu Valcea.
Not married, working as advisor in the Valcea County's Department for Child Rights Protection.
Begun playing chess at the age of 18. Candidate Master at OTB chess. Among his first achievements: two titles at the National University Championship of Brasov, in 1987 and 1988. Good recent results in ”Cetate” Cup - Deva 1999, ”Seaside Trophy” B - Eforie Nord 2000, ”Constantin Radulescu Memorial” - Calimanesti 2001.
Master in correspondence chess. Participating since 1995. Among best results: third place in Paul Farago Farago Cup 17th edition, 8th place in National Championship Final - 35th edition, first place in preliminary group EM/J50/P178 of the ICCF Jubilee. 
Member of the national team in the semi-final of the 15th edition of the Correspondence Chess Olympiad.
Played for Chimia Ramnicu Valcea in CNEC 4th and 5th editions.

Vidican Alexandru

Born on September 29, 1940 in Beius, Bihor county.
Married, father of one child. Romanian teacher, currently retired.
1st category at OTB chess - playing since 1995.
Candidate Master at correspondence chess, with a prodigious activity of over 35 years and several presences in national and international tournaments.
Best results: five starts in National Championships (including a third position for 19th edition) and the presence in CNEC 3rd and 4th editions.
Member of the national team in Coppa Latina, second edition, where he scored 7,5p(12) on Board 9.
Played for Chimia Ramnicu Valcea in 3rd, 4th and 5th editions of CNEC.

Dragu Ion
Born January 28, 1961 in Ramnicu Valcea.
Married, father of two children. Working as mechanical engineer at Raureni Tin Factory.
Candidate Master at OTB chess, active between 1977 and 1993.
One of the main components of the Second League team of that period, Metalul Rm. Valcea.
Candidate Master at correspondence chess. Best performance: 10p(10) in CNEC-5. He also took part in the 30th edition of the National Championship. 
Played for Chimia Ramnicu Valcea in 3rd and 5th editions of CNEC.

Florescu Virgil

Born on October 22, 1946 in Ramnicu Valcea.
Married. Teaching Physics at “General Magheru” highschool in Rm.Valcea. An active chess player during 1964 and 1985. Became Candidate Master in 1980.
Master at correspondence chess. Successfully redebuting in 1997.
Best performance: National champion in 36th edition (2002). Excellent results in CNEC 4th and 5th editions, with an important contribution to the overall team achievements.

Miulescu Constantin

Born on December 10, 1945 in Caracal, Olt county.
Married, father of two children. Thermoenergetic engineer, currently retired.
1st categry at OTB chess, active between 1975 and 1990.
Candidate Master at correspondence chess, playing since 1997.
Very good results in 4th and 5th editions of CNEC, with an important contribution to the overall team achievements.
